I feel that the majority of the people that listen to K-POP only follow the big groups, the ones that are very popular amongst people; like SNSD, Super Junior, BIGBANG, 2NE1, etc.

So what? Some people have been with those groups since the beginning. And those that haven’t… well, they’re the most popular for a reason. Also, a lot of the smaller groups gain new fans all the time. Everything in it’s time, okay? When I first got into K-pop, the big artists were DBSK, Rain, Se7en, and BoA. Shit changes. Now it’s Big Bang, Suju, SNSD, 2NE1… at that time, those were either non-existent (2NE1) or rookie groups. When I got into Big Bang, they were just starting to gain all those fans. Everything in it’s time. EXO and BAP are pretty big, now, and pretty soon, the older groups will start to fall off or lose some momentum (and the older guys will be off to the military) and new “most popular groups” will emerge. Remember that a few years ago, Wonder Girls would’ve been included in that list, and now they’re pretty much not. Let Big Bang, Suju, SNSD, and 2NE1 have their time, man… this shit goes fast. Trust me, as a Cloud, one day you’ll be telling these “young whippersnappers” about the days when G-Dragon was on top of the world.
